I have lived in Chattanooga all my life, with a three-year stint in Charleston, SC. Charleston is when I developed a keen interest in the arts. Spending thirty years as a professional musician and songwriter, I developed my writing. I am married with two daughters and three grandkids. My degree is not in writing, and I have no training other than Composition courses at Chattanooga State and many years of accumulated paper with scribbling that I call writing. My course of study was Drafting and Design with an Associates Degree from Northwest Georgia Technical College in 1971. My main writing interests are poetry and chapter book fiction for early teens. I currently have work published in The Path to Peace and will soon have this work published in Theater of the Mind -- an international book of poetry. I also have work published in the East Tennessee Literary Review.
