Lantz Powell

Lantz Powell spends most of his time working on his novel, Let Truth Not Die.  After 25 years in sales and contract negotiations with small businesses and large corporations, he became a Business Consultant helping others start and grow their own businesses. When he joined Chattanooga Writers Guild, he was asked to help an author negotiate a contract for them. This soon developed into the establishment of "The Literary Agency for Southern Authors," Today, the agency has clients throughout the South. It has grown by word of mouth -- and refuses to have even a website -- even though most communication with clients is done via the Internet. 

"I look at myself as a business manager -- or someone who helps an author to think of their work from a business point of view. Most authors make very little from their craft -- and as an agent, I make only a percentage of that. So I am not in it for the money. I formed The Literary Agency For Southern Authors because I knew first hand the plight many authors were in and thought I could do something to help."
