Richard Dubé
Richard Dubé has been in love with words since he was a young child. Spoken words, written words, printed words, foreign words, private words, secret words, Wheel of Fortune words, published words…Unfortunately his published words are few and to date are in the realm of Non-Fiction. He is the author of Natural Pattern Forms: A Practical Sourcebook for Landscape Design (John Wiley & Sons) (Chinese translation in 2000); co-author of Landscaping Makes Cents (Storey Communications) and co-author of Natural Stonescapes (Storey Communications). He wrote the newsletter for the National Arborist Association for one year and he has written several articles for the American Horticultural Society in their periodical The American Gardener and its previous incarnation The American Horticulturist. His most recent published article was in 2002 for Fine Gardening Magazine. He tends to write as he reads and he usually reads 10 to 12 books at a time. His current writing projects are a textbook Hermeneutics: The Art and Science of Interpretation; a novel about a woman’s journey of self-discovery (The Trail); a sequel novel about her son’s discovery of the world (The Hermit); a southern revolutionary novel (The Soushari Saga); a science fiction novel set on a terra-formed Mars (Cydonia); and an autobiography, Whistlepigs on Parade – The Autobiography of a Common Man. For a day job, Richard is the Director of the NewsChannel9 Science Education Theatre. |
