"I've Had Enough, Of Wasted Time"

Ninety-Nine Days

This song was written April 30, 2000. I was in my truck, on Interstate 59 coming home from New Orleans. I had been through some tough times, and was at a low point. I went to the New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival, had a wonderful time (considering) and was feeling somewhat better about myself.

As I was driving home I had the chorus in my head, but I didn't really know what to do with it. Then I passed a County Prison Bus full of inmates who had obviously been working on highway detail or something.
I pretty much had the song written in my head by the time I got home.

So far, this is the only song I have ever written in my truck, and it is one of my personal favorites.

I Am Not Afraid

I really have no idea what inspired this one...

Full Body Transplant

One silly ass song, but I guess the world can always use another silly song.
It is one of my Mom's favorites. This one was inspired by a phone conversation with a dear person in my life.
Thanks Kathy for your love, and for the song.

When The Story Is Told

Too Many irons in the fire? This one's for you...

Wicked Ways

I believe I wrote this one around 1988 or '89. It is one very few of my early songs,
which I am still willing to play in front of people.
I am still trying to live up to it...

If I Were Rich

One for the dreamers...
