I suppose the most frequently asked questions of any musician are,
"When did you start playing?" and "Why?".

Here is my My Story, for what it's worth.

My Story Part Two

Q: What kind of guitars and amps do you play?
A:
My day job is at Peavey, so I mostly use Peavey equipment (go figure). I used Peavey for years before I ever thought of working there, so it is NOT just because of that.
I grew up in Meridian MS, which is where the company is based, so obviously I was exposed to that early on. In fact, my first decent ("storebought") amp was an old Peavey 400 Series Musician. That said, the bottom line is that the stuff works or I wouldn't use it and I wouldn't work there.

I also use some other non-Peavey gear, although not much anymore.
My all time favorite instrument is my beloved old Alverez-Yairi acoustic, which I bought new back in 1980 or 81. I don't use it live any more because it has a crack in the top, but I have a lot of history with that one. It is the guitar that I wrote "Ninety Nine Days" and a lot of my other songs on.
You can see some of my music-making gear here.

Q: Why are you not famous?
A:
Shaddup...Besides, my nine year old thinks I AM famous...

Q: So who are you to have a website?
A:
Hello! It's 2005 already. Any schmuck with a pc and a modem can have a website...
