GIVI from the rear

Finally !!!!  Got a decal of my bike's name
Also notice the BNC connectors that supply 12vdc to the side marker lights
and double as the anti-bag-flop solution
I finally have a convenient way to lock helmets with the double lock license plate solution.

PIAA 912XTRA lights (55watt extra white light)
(mounted off my forward highway peg brackets)
I wanted to get UNDER that fog.  Wired to come on automatically with either high or low beams (via toggle sw)

Some other recent pictures

Another view of PIAA's from front

STEFi plate to assist with helmet turbulance elimination

My Thanks to SHOEI for protecting my face and skull on my Kentucky crash :-(

Going Home

Some Reasons for my Insanity:
It's my parents fault!

They doomed me from the get-go

Two reasons for my SPEED problem:
Reason 1 at the dragstrip
Reason 2 on Saturday mornings

Reasons why I go to motorcycle races
Hooters girls

OK, enough of that

My Bikes name: SarahT1100
(to remind me how much I love my daughter, Sarah)
Hmmmm, her last name starts with "T".  Have I been doomed since the Beginning as to my destiny?

(Square aluminum tubing, aluminum angle iron, stainless threaded rod and stainless acorn nuts..... All for about $12 at Farm & Fleet)
(Uses front only screws for backrest.  need to cut clearance in angle iron to miss rear backrest screws)

The "Gloves" story
Very nice Dianese summer riding leather gloves (see link to Dianese below)  Pic 1
Very successful fully waterproof gloves Pic 1  (Picked them up for $25 at Chicago spring motorcycle show)
Equally successful waterproof mittens (with finger holes inside the mitten) Bought at Farm & Fleet for $19:  Pic 1
Don't waste your time on these P.O.S.  Tourmasters  (Published to be waterproof) They gave out after 3 hours in the rain!: Pic 1

Sigma BC-800 trip computer sensor and magnet mounting:  Pic 1  Pic 2   Pic 3   Pic 4 (magnet from the back side)    Pic 5
(I did use 2-part epoxy under both the magnet and the pick-up unit.  Clipped off mounting feet from pick-up unit.  Used tie-wraps just for safety)
(To calibrate the 800, measure wheel Circumference in millimeters and divide it by 1.61.  Thats it!  Enter that number into the "ws" in the 800)
(Make sure sensor is not inboard to far to interfere with getting front wheel off)
(I set gap by listening to sensor "clicking" as magnet moved past)
(for reference with Excedras, my circumference after 6kmi was 1990.7mm divided by 1.61 = 1236 as the "ws" entry)
(at 25mph on the ST speedo, the sigma was flickering between 23 and 24mph)
