Crust
Ingredients: Ingredients: Directions: Position rack in center of oven. Preheat oven to 300°F . Use electric mixer and beat cream cheese with sugar. Add egg yolks and blend just to combine. Whip egg whites until stiff. Fold cream cheese mixture into egg whites. Transfer 1 cup of batter into another bowl and mix in the melted chocolate. Pour remaining plain batter into crust. Pour chocolate batter into the crust. Using a spatula, swirl chocolate into plain batter. Bake until center of cake is almost set, about 1 1/2 hours. Turn oven off. Let choose cake remain in oven with door closed until firm and completely cool, about 1 1/2 hours. Refrigerate overnight. Serves 6-8. |
