“O God of Earth and Altar,
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die,
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
But take away our pride.”
Was many years ago that I left home and
came this way
I was a young man , full of hopes and dreams.
But now it seems to me that all is lost and nothing gained
Sometimes things aren’t what they seem.
Night and day I scan the horizon , sea, and
sky
My spirit wanders endlessly, until the day will dawn.
I am a stranger in a strange land, a land
of ice and snow
Trapped inside this prison, lost and far from home.
I am here to help, to provide for and
counsel.
I will travel with my brothers and
sisters wherever the path leads.
