Warning/Disclaimer

As noted above, some people visiting this page will not be happy with some of the content and ideas expressed. Those people will generally fall into any of the following groups:

  • Those who feel that the Second Amendment is *not* an individual right, but only applies to the states or the National Guard

  • Those who feel that no individuals, other than law enforcement, should be able to have a weapon, particularly a handgun.

  • Those who feel that the Second Amendment (or gun ownership) is directed at (or, somehow tied to) purely sporting or hunting purposes.

  • Those who feel that the solution to deaths by firearm is to place more laws and restrictions on law-abiding citizens instead of targeting the criminal or working on the socio-economic problems that are the root of these deaths.

  • Those who feel that *any* individual, without exception, has the right to own and carry firearms with absolutely no restrictions, although I will provide links to pro-gun pages that do express those ideals.

I guarantee that, if you fall into one of those these groups, you will not be happy with many of the ideas that will be expressed on these pages. Other than some of the links that I will provide, you may feel that your time may be better spent on some other webpage that more closely fits your mindset. In any case, you are most welcome to spend whatever time here you wish and use this page for its links or as an exchange of ideas.

That being said, and if you are still with me and reading this, I want you to know that my intent on this page is to discuss firearms ownership, the responsibility that goes with that ownership and the loss of our freedoms concerning that ownership. I invite all discussion via Email that you wish to conduct. Who knows, I may even post some of it on a linked page. :^)
