707  N Calvert Street, MS-301

Baltimore MD 21202

Dear Mr. Pedersen:

This is a request for public information filed under the Maryland Public Information Act.  I request that the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) provide me with a copy of documents containing data produced for the recently released Intercounty Connector Draft Environmental Impact Study (DEIS).

Specifically, please provide me with the street address of each of the 87 residences threatened with displacement by the ICC project, for all alternatives, as cited in the (DEIS.  Please also provide the street address of any other threatened residence not included among those 87.

I understand that a fee may be charged for providing this material. I ask that the fee be waived, as these data are essential to increase public understanding of the impacts of this huge project, and as I seek these data purely for non-profit purposes.

I ask that the SHA provide me with this information in hard copy and in electronic copy.  I ask that the SHA provide the electronic copy in Word, Excel, CSV or another common format other than PDF.  Please send the electronic copy as an e-mail attachment, and send it to me at ebnineteen@hotmail.com.

I ask that my request receive expedited processing (less than 30 days) because it is needed to provide informed comments on the DEIS before February 15, 2005. Please let me know right away when it will be available.

Please contact me at 301 926-4358 or ebnineteen@hotmail.com  to discuss any aspect of my request. Thank you for your cooperation in responding to this request.

Sincerely,
