Support Solveeczema.org

Many people write asking how they can help this effort. Initially, I was able to cover all site-related expenses myself. In 2007, I nearly had to retire the site temporarily, but thanks to donations from readers of my blog, I was able to defray costs enough to renew domain names, etc.

The button above links to the Paypal site, where you can make a secure donation with a credit card or Paypal account. The transaction is handled entirely by Paypal, but you do not need a Paypal account to make a donation.

Solveeczema.org Wish List

Any of the following will help my efforts to bring this solution to more people:
  • Macromedia DREAMWEAVER Software for Mac OSX with license
  • Network Solutions multi-year web hosting package
  • Subscription to LEXIS-NEXIS and/or ELSEVIER that I can access from my home computer. (I know, I know - impossible, but it would help so much, I may as well ask!)
  • A DONOR ANGEL to sponsor a medical study - please contact me for a proposal

Feedback

This web site is a labor of love.

It is here because I want every child possible to know what it is like to grow up eczema-free. I apologize, but I do not currently have the resources to help people individually.

I have been tremendously blessed to hear numerous stories from families for whom this information made all the difference. I invite feedback, and if you have a question or want to share your experience, I read every email. I may not be able to respond quickly, but I will do what I can.

Someday, I hope to set up a community resource where families can share their experiences and help each other. For now, if you have a question, please read everything that is here already, chances are, the information is here.

Why this site remains non-commercial

Over the years, many people have recommended ways to commercialize solveeczema.org so that I could afford to continue and perhaps spend more time with it. Unfortunately, the most feasible ways to monetize web sites, such as to place Google ads on the home page, are not appropriate for this effort because I have no discretion to reject ads for products that may be harmful to people who need my site. Skin products, especially, can be so compelling, and I would never want anyone to accidentally use something I recommend against because they see an ad on my site. This makes donations doubly important to this effort.

Although I intend to some day apply for non-profit status, solveeczema.org is currently a personal effort - it does not have legal tax-exempt status.
