Thank you for sharing your place. 11/4/2011 This is my family's first time here and we have loved our visit. We came to celebrate my mom and aunt's 51st birthday. My mom is currently battling stage 3 ovarian cancer and while we believe in miracles we also know that our time on earth is limited. This home away from home has given my family a chance to bond and "Reflect" on the important things in life (family). This will not be our last visit. The weather went from a 1 hour torrential rainfall on Tuesday morning to absolutely perfect weather from then on. Wish we could stay one more day! In any case, there are lots now!] 9/18/2011 Every year we’re lucky enough to spend a week in September with our mom and dad. This was the first year we made it to the coast. Seabrook was the perfect pick and Reflection Cottage the best place to stay for a relaxing few days visiting and enjoying each other’s company. This year was special as we were celebrating their 35^th anniversary and our 10^th! We toured the beach, finding dozens of sand dollars an plenty of driftwood. Be sure to catch sunrise and sunset – the fog is magical! There are so many trails to enjoy and great little laces to discover. We walked the beach down to Pacific Beach and enjoyed a great cup of coffee in a cute little shop. This is a trip we won’t forget. We rode bikes around the neighborhood several times which our daughter loved doing with the bike we brought from home as we rode Reflections’. The owners have thought of absolutely everything needed for a five-star get away. When I unlocked the door to the cottage the special touches made me feel right at home and delighted. The cottage is located in a nice quiet tucked-away location in Seabrook and a very short walk to everything. I had a delightful lunch at the Cafe and highly recommend the food. There are not words to describe the beach on this area of the coast. It is very rugged and spectacular. Bring your camera! I appreciated having WIFI and long distance phone service included. The espresso maker was a nice morning treat. The bathtubs are very deep and delightful. Having laundry facilities in the cottage also just makes everything easier. A newspaper is delivered to the front door every morning. I could make a very long list of amenities and special memories had on my stay. However, there is no way to prepare for the experience by reading a web review. Just go. It will exceed your expectations. Last time we stayed here (July 1-5) 4th of July weekend, I was so relaxed & rested that I forgot to write in the book! For the 4th my husband & I brought our 19-year old daughter. This time we brought some special friends of ours & our daughter was bummed. What a beautiful home you have. It's amazing that just walking through the door, you are at peace. The people are very friendly here. On our last visit we met the owners next door (Little Slice of Heaven) & have struck up a new friendship that we're continuing to nurture outside of visiting Seabrook. Because of them, we discovered not only "Reflection," but also Seabrook. This was a special visit for us - 8/24 marked our 42nd anniversary and the first summer of my retirement. What a great place to celebrate! You have provided a wonderful place for relaxation, a change of pace, and, of course, reflection. Thank you. It's super fun and great on a rainy day. It's out behind the market! :-) Have fun! 7/242010 Oh where to start... Was lucky enough to wake up here on our last morning on my Birthday! The lattes were fab. My sister & family are across the way in "Happy Days." Brother and fam @ Pacific Beach and 2 other sisters & families in Moclips. Fun to be visiting back and forth. It is our annual ocean trip - apx 30 years worth. I just have to say to the owners of Reflection that because of them it wasn't the usual packing stress the week before since we knew everything we needed was already here!! So thanks for that! That outdoor fireplace sure puts out the heat although one day it was so hot we were at the beach sunbathing. Learned to do some sports Wii. Hula hoop, tightrope, & bowling. The guitar for the younger ones. Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed it here. Jon wants to come back this winter. Thank you so much! The bikes are great, and everything's very close! The beach was wonderful and this cottage is very well laid out. You've fit all we could want into a cozy space. Amazing organization! We had some difficulty with the technically advanced fancy remote control but eventually did watch TV and DVDs. Fun selection of DVDs, too! Weather was wet but we still loved it. We will come back! Cute community, nice cottage, loved the comfortable beds & the well-stocked kitchen. Just so happened I own my own beach cruiser bike so I enjoyed riding it each day through the community. The community has a Nantucket feel and when I ventured down to the ocean it was cold and windy but still breathtaking. Will definitely return to Seabrook with friends someday. *[Reflection: See the review here!]* 5/22/09 We enjoyed the cottage stay immensely. It is well wired and equipped with everything a person needs – excellent. The only item missing (or we could not find) was ice cube trays! Trails are well laid out and the Seabrook community is a piece of America that has been missing from our busy urban lives! Enjoyed families connecting, children laughing, dogs romping, peace, quiet and the elements of life. The constant roar of the distant ocean is soothing to the soul. This place speaks to me. The kitchen is better stocked than what we have at home. We entertained our friends for dinner (they were roughing it at a nearby campsite) & had a lot of fun. We went to the beach a few times. Try as we might, we never found one of the planted glass floats along the trail to the beach.
