Our Horses
Jerra
Jerra is a 13 year old 13'3 hand pony mare. She is a favorite in our lesson program. Jerra is used for walk, trot, canter, and jumping students. She has earned our students multiple championships at shows as "Ugly Betty" and continues to impress us with her one-of-a-kind personality.
Winston
Winston is a ten year old Warmblood/QH gelding who is our latest addition to our lesson program. .
Poco
Poco is a 3 year old gelding. He was champion in his first show and is progressing nicely with his training.
Annie
Annie is an 8 year old Mustang Mare. She is being used in our lesson program.
Soldier
Soldier is a 4 year old Grey gelding Pony recently purchased to be used for small children just learning to walk, trot, canter and jump..
Tucker
Tucker is a 24 year old Quarter horse who was donated to us. He is a retired show horse who still has an excellent work ethic.
Griffin
Griffin is a 23 year old Warmblood we rescued from the auction. We were told that he was a show horse who ended up at the auction after being in a pasture for three years. Griffin is a great horse and a wonderful addition to our farm.
Prince
Prince is a 23 year old Welsh Pony/Thoroughbred. Prince is 14'2 hands tall. Prince loves attention and treats. Prince excels in Pleasure and Hunter classes at shows. 10/30/08 - Prince returned from New Bolton Center where he underwent surgery for cancer of his right eye to save his eye and vision. April 2009 - Sadly Prince had a recurrence of his cancer and was admitted to the Cornell University Hospital for Animals for further surgery and radiation treatment. May 2009 - Prince was recovering from his surgery. The doctors were unable to save his eye, but Prince has recovered nicely.
Sprite
Sprite is a 30+ year old Welsh Pony mare. She is 13'1 hands tall and is very well known around Bucks County because of her amazing tolerance of beginners. She is used for beginner-intermediate students and is an amazing pony to learn on. Sprite is semi-retired but still used for lessons, camp, and is also our main pony party participant.
Lola
Lola is an 18 year old Miniature Horse and as sweet as can be. She is Sprite's little buddy.
Casper
Casper is a 13 year old Cremello gelding. He enjoys jumping and trail rides and loves attention. Casper is used for our advanced students who are jumping.
Tallulah
Tallulah is a 6 year old Bay Welsh TB mare. "Tula" is used for some lessons, and is coming along spectacularly. Tula currently jumps 2'3+ courses with auto changes and is beginning her show career.
Frisco
Frisco is owned by Cori Reich and is not available for lessons. Frisco is a 17'3 hand bay Oldenburg gelding. However, his intimidating size is no match for his extremely sweet personality. Cori and Frisco have been showing very successfully in the 3'6 equitation ring.
Trucker
Trucker was a 29 year old Thoroughbred gelding who was around since the beginning of our lesson program. He was 15'3 hands tall and had a very successful show career. Trucker was used for beginner-intermediate walk/trot/canter students. Sadly, Trucker passed away on January 2, 2008.
Bones More on Bones...
November 2009 June 2007
Bones was an aged Bay gelding rescued at an auction in New Jersey. When Bones was rescued June 2007 he was severely malnourished and in very poor condition. Rolling Coach Stables provided Bones with food and medical care and love. His sweet disposition and trust in people was amazing despite what he had been through. Our lesson children were so impressed with his strong will that they planned a fund raiser on August 19, 2007 to help with his care and upkeep. He improved every day as he was treated by the vet, dentist and farrier. On November 28, 2009 Bones was adopted and moved to his perfect forever home. Bones enjoyed massages and watermelon and the love of a little boy named A.J. Colleen and her family provided Bones with all the love he needed to complete his life journey in peace. Rest in peace Bones, July 29, 2010.
