Our summer day camp is designed to teach students basic horse care and riding
skills.
Students will have mounted instructions for a minimum of one hour per day. The students will also learn the responsibilities of taking care of the horses, their tack and equipment.
Campers participate in games, both mounted and on the ground.
Campers participate in arts and crafts daily.
Thursday campers participate in a real horse show experience with other camps.
Friday is pizza party day and awards day.
Campers should bring the following:
Riding pants/Jeans/Long pants, shorts, old tee shirt, sneakers to change into.
Hard hats for when mounted on horses and working around horses (we have hats if you don't).
Riding boots or hard soled shoes with a small heel.
Lunch with a drink.
Water bottles.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.
Extended hours before and after are available for an additional fee.
We have a registered nurse on-site.
