!Mrs. Annie Curley, 76, died Sunday at her home in Osage City. She was
born July 14, 1878, in Scotland and lived in Kansas 16 years. Her
husband preceded her in death in 1929.

!Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Federated church in
Burlingame with interment in the Burlingame cemetery.

!Funeral services for Mrs. James Curley of Burlingame were held
Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the Burlingame Federated church with Rev. A. A.
Van Sickle and Rev. Arthur Coole in charge. Burial was in the Burlingame
cemetery.

!Mrs. Curley was born July 14, 1878, at Carronshire, Edinburgh, Scotland,
and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ted Parre, Burlingame, Nov. 7,
1954, at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 24 days. She came to Osage
county at an early age with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Colin Wilson. The
family first settled in Pennsylvania but moved here soon afterward.

!Mrs. Curley joined the Presbyterian church at an early age. She was united
in marriage to James Curley in 1896, living in Burlingame most of the time.
To this union were born nine children.

!She was the last charter member of the Pythian Sisters. She was also a
member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

!Four sisters, two brothers, her husband and one son, Robert, and a
daughter, Isabel Verna, preceded Mrs. Curley in death. She was always a
devoted wife and mother as the welfare of her family was her first
concern.

!She leaves to mourn her passing, four daughters: Ann Rosetta of Osage
City, Esther Tindell of Ketchiken, Alaska, Mrs. Albert(a) Fenney of Los
Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Marguerite Parre of Osage City; three sons, James
and John William Curley of Osage City, and Colin of San Francisco, Calif.; 18
grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Welch of
Collander, Ontario, Canada; Mrs. Frank Giachino of Burlingame, Christine
Bradley and Mrs. Robert Vandy of Kansas City, Mo.; two
brothers, David Wilson of Kansas City, Mo., and Colin of Topeka.
