In addition to our recognition of Eagle Scouts, the detachment also recognizes the accomplishments of Scouting's Venturers with a citizenship award upon receiving the Venturing Silver Award. The Silver Award is the highest award in the Venturing Program. Again, the presentation is usually held in conjunction with Venturing crew's Court of Honor ceremony.

To initiate recognition by the detachment, the supporting Boy Scout Troop or Venturing Crew should submit a request in writing to the detachment.
If you have questions regarding the league's Eagle Scout Awards Program or the detachment's Venturing Awards Program, please contact our Scouting Chairman, Charles M. Lyons, at hcmcl@comcast.net.
