Just a few pictures that I like. No, they are not always the sharpest or the most technically correct but I feel photography is more about capturing a moment, an emotion, an interesting person or a building or a vista or something that just strikes one's fancy. Not only do I enjoy the images but I also enjoy everything else that goes into making them. Many of them bring back rich memories. I learn something from most every shot I take so that even my photographic disasters are transformed into something of value in my continuing education in photography and life.
Speaking of life, I had hardly picked up a camera in years until earlier this year (2001). I forgot how much fun it was. It has taken me a while to start seeing "photographically" again. I have also been rediscovering old equipment and trying some new.
A strange quirk of my personality is that I really do like to know a little more about the person, place or thing that has been saved on film so not only do I discuss the image and its creation but sometimes the equipment used or the reason it may have been a memorable experience.
And now I humbly present some images for your (hopefully) viewing pleasure:

Sorry, I have to keep the images about snapshot size and compressed to save bandwidth and conserve room in my directory.
