Ronnie & The Boss Cats came
together in 1994. Since then we have played for class reunions, local clubs,
corporate parties, fund raising events, private parties, the Moose Lodge, “Sweet Sixteen” and “Boomer’s
50th” birthday parties, Beach clubs, and Mr. Smith’s in Georgetown, just to name a few venues we have played. The Boss Cats’ range of experience is the musical foundation on which our tunes are performed. Each of these cats
have played in rock ‘n roll bands since their early teenage years.
John Walker, Drums and Vocals, joined
Ten Feet Five, a five-piece band from Andover in the county of Hampshire, England, in 1963.
Ten Feet Five were very successful in the South of England and worked with many of the major 1960's bands including
The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, The Tremeloes and The Cruisers. In 1964, Ten
Feet Five released their recording, 'Baby's Back In Town'. Shortly after this,
two of his mates went on to form The Troggs, recording that huge hit song, “Wild Thing”. In 1994, John re-formed Ten Feet Five and played until he left for the U.S.A. in September 2003.
