34. William Warrick Blake Sr was born on 26 Feb 1779 in Augusta County, Virginia (now Pocahontas County, West Virginia). In 1796 he bought 3,062 acres from the Banks Survey Fayette County, Virginia (now West Virginia). He died on 10 Jun 1843 in Mount Hope, Fayette County, Virginia (now West Virginia). He was buried in Blake Cemetery, Mount Hope, Fayette County, West Virginia.

William Warrick Blake Sr and Sarah "Mother Sally" Blake were married on 5 Jan 1804 in Greenbrier County, Virginia (now West Virginia). They immigrated to Fayette County, Virginia (now West Virginia) in 1805 becoming the first permanent settler of present-day Mount Hope. Sarah "Mother Sally" Blake (daughter of John Blake Sr and Anna Newton) was born in 1779 in Pocahontas, Virginia. She died in 1822 in Mount Hope, Fayette County, Virginia (now West Virginia). She was buried in Blake Cemetery, Mount Hope, Fayette County, West Virginia. William Warrick Blake Sr and Sarah "Mother Sally" Blake had the following children:

William Warrick Blake Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Wiseman were married on 12 Aug 1824 in Logan County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Elizabeth "Betsy" Wiseman (daughter of William Riley Wiseman and Phoebe Honaker Kilburn) was born on 22 Jan 1805 in Union, Monroe County, Virginia (now West Virginia). She died on 16 Apr 1867 in Mount Hope, Fayette County, Virginia (now West Virginia). She was buried in Blake Cemetery, Mount Hope, Fayette County, West Virginia. William Warrick Blake Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Wiseman had the following children:
