Membership
Dues are $10.00 per adult or two for $15.00. To join, print and fill out the application and send into the school with cash or check made payable to Red House Run PTA. We welcome you and your ideas and contributions. Thank you!
Your dues payment entitles you to membership not only in our local school based PTA but the Baltimore County, Maryland State, and National PTA organizations as well. Your dues, and the money raised by our annual fall fundraiser, go to support Red House Run by enriching the programs offered as well as enabling fun family friendly events year round.
Things that the PTA pays for include homework folders, assignment logs, Weekly Reader and Time for kids subscriptions, plus money is given to teachers for individual classroom enrichment for whatever school needs the teachers have. This means the teachers don't have to ask the parents for additional supplies at the beginning of the school year, or wait for the budget to support a certain needed classroom item, say a fish tank for a class pet for example.
