| John William Hutchison b: Bet. 1837 - 1839 in Ireland |
We are not sure if John William was originally a Hutchinson, and the first n was dropped somewhere along the line or if the n had been dropped in a previous generation. Owen Joseph was John William's only son that lived to adulthood. John William may had had much older siblings, but no links have been proven. One brother, Hugh Hutchinson, lived in Peel, Wellington and Dufferin Counties in Ontario. Hugh had one son who didn't seem to have had any children. In a marriage document for John William it states his parent's names are John and Susan but doesn't indicate if the parents are in Canada, the US or Ireland. One of the reasons we are anxious to participate is that we are having a difficult time tracking down our ancestors. A DNA analysis may help us with the direction of future research. A very simple Hutchison family line from Donald back to our earliest known ancestor looks like this:
