Charles T Hutcheson was born in Tennessee and was married in Monroe County, TN. He had twelve children of which six were born in Monroe Co., TN, one died as a baby and it is unknown where he was born, two were born in McNairy County, TN and three were born in Tishomingo County, MS. His son William Henderson Hutcheson, of which I am descended, was born in Monroe Co., TN. William Henderson Hutcheson had nine children, eight of which were born in Carroll County, AR while number nine was born in Bolivar, Polk County, MO. Number eight was born in 1864 and number nine was born in 1867. The story goes that William Henderson Hutcheson was a Union sympathizer and relocated north to Polk County, MO apparently under the pressure of the Carroll County locals. It seems that everyone that is researching this line of Hutcheson's have hit a wall at the Charles T Hutcheson point. It is my hope that the DNA testing might help in finding a connection with another line of Hutch*son's. |
