She married William the Longsword, son of Rollo Ragnvaldsson and Lady Poppa de Valois, in 935. Luitgarde of Vermandois married Theobald of Blois I in 943. Luitgarde of Vermandois died on 9 February 978.

He was born between 846 and 849 at Wantage, Oxfordshire, England.1 He married Ethelbith, daughter of Ethelan the Great and Eadburga, between 868 and 869.1 King Alfred the Great died between 25 October 899 and 28 October 899.1
