
Button and Bow Wreath
   
This craft is EASY It is achievable by anyone.

MATERIALS:
16"-dia. flat Styrofoam wreath form fiberfill 16 yds. pink and 5 yds. white 2"-wide craft ribbon 5 yds. 1 1/4"-wide pink craft ribbon 12 yds. 1"-wide lace ribbon assorted buttons pink thread heavy-duty thread flexible wire glue stick silicone glue

DIRECTIONS:
1. Pad the wreath form on all sides with about 1" of fiberfill. Secure by wrapping the wreath with heavy-duty thread.
2. Wrap the wreath with 2"-wide craft ribbon, overlapping slightly. Secure the end with the glue stick.
3. Cut 24 lengths of lace ribbon, equal to the girth of the wreath. Wrap around the wreath in groups of threes (see photos). Glue the ends.
4. Sew thread through the button holes to simualte stitching. Glue the "stitched" buttons to the wreath in groups (see photo) with the silicone glue.
5. Make 3 sets of bows and streamers using the 1 1/4" ribbon, leftover 2" ribbon and lace, following the directions for Basic Bows and Streamers. Sew a large button in the center of the bow to cover the wire. Trim the ribbon ends as shown in the photo.
SMALL WREATHS Use 6" and 3" flat wreath forms. Make in the same manner as the large wreath, omitting fiberfill from the 3" wreath and scaling the bows down to the size of the wreath.
