
Peppermint Candy Wreath

   
This craft is EASY. It is achievable by anyone.

MATERIALS: Two 16"-dia. flat styrofoam wreath forms cellophane-wrapped peppermint candy 45' #16 wire flexible wire wire cutters floral tape 6 small school scissors glue FOR EACH BOW: 5 yds. 3/8"-wide polka-dot ribbon 6 yds. 5/8"-wide and 1 yd. 1/4"-wide green ribbon

DIRECTIONS: 1. Cut the six 5"-long sires for the bows and set aside. Cut the remaining wire into 4" lengths.
2. Wrap the twisted cellophane ends of 2 candies together with the flexible wire. Continue adding candy by wrapping in the ends until there are about 5 candies per cluster, then wrap the cluster to 4" wires. Using floral tape, wrap the whole stem.
3. Glue 2 styrofoam wreaths together. When dry, insert the candy clusters into the top and sides of the wreath.
4. Make the bows and streamers from the polka-dot and 5/8" ribbon, following the directions for Basic Bows and Streamers and adding 1 extra-long length of narrow ribbon at each bow to tie on the scissors.
