The following crafts are EASY. They are achievable by anyone. Chenille Tree Garland MATERIALS: Red and white jumbo chenille stems gold and silver metallic chenille stems wire-cutting pliers ruler DIRECTIONS: 1. Cut the jumbo stems into 6" pieces. Cut the metallic chenille stems into 4" pieces. Make a circle of 1 red piece and hook 1/2" on each end to fasten. Place a silver piece through the red circle and make a circle of the silver piece to create a chain. 2. Repeat with white, then gold, then red and continue until the chain is the required length. Lace Tree Garland MATERIALS: White lace See Shopping Guide silver chenile stems, 2 for each yard of lace ruler wire-cutting pliers DIRECTIONS: 1. Cut each silver chenille stem into 3" pieces. Pleat the lace crosswise between two scallops and wrap with 1 piece of chenille. 2. Repeat 7 scallops beyond the first wrapping. Repeat between every 7 scallops Pasta Tree Garland MATERIALS: Small tubular and wagon-wheel-type pasta wax paper tacky glue button thread or crochet cotton blunt needle toothpicks DIRECTIONS: Start and end with the tubular shape. Using the needle, alternately string round and tubular shapes on 3-yd. lengths of button thread, securing at each end by bringing the thread-ends out of, then back around the last tube.
