Heart Christmas Card Holder This craft is EASY It is achievable by anyone. MATERIALS: 1/4yd. 45"-wide solid red cotton fabric 1/4 yd. 45"-wide red print cotton fabric 1/4 yd. iron-on interfacing 1/2 yd. 1"- or 1 1/2"-wide red grosgrain ribbon red thread DIRECTIONS: 1. Enlarge the pattern following these directions. Cut the pattern out twice along the outer edges in the interfacing. 2. Place the interfacing pattern pieces on the wrong side of the cotton fabrics: one piece on the solid red and one piece on the red print. 3. Iron the pieces on, following the instructions for the type of interfacing used. Cut the 2 pieces out. 4. Cut the pattern once in the solid red and once in the red print. Place the solid red pieces together, right sides out, and the red print pieces together, right sides out. Stitch close to the outer edges. Stitch 1 row around the slit lines. Cut along the slit lines. Stitch the zigzag along the cut edges. 5. "Weave" the 2 halves of the card holder together as shown in the photo. Sew the grosgrain ribbon on for hanging as shown, forming loops on the front.
