Wallpaper Note Paper

This craft is EASY
It is achievable by anyone

MATERIALS:
Note paper with matching envelopes
wallpaper remnants or samples *
scissors
ruler
pencil
rubber cement

DIRECTIONS:
1. NOTEPAPER: Cut wallpaper in one of three ways: If the wallpaper is a small print, cover the entire face of the front flap of the note paper with a rectangle of the wallpaper. Coat the back of the wallpaper with rubber cement and smooth in place. Line the envelope to match.

2. If the wallpaper is a bold stripe, cut a length of the stripe to fit the width of the front flap of the note paper. Glue, centered, to the face of the note paper. Line the envelope to match. Or, if the wallpaper has two distinct types of striping, use a different one to line the envelope.

3. If the wallpaper has medallions or bold motifs, cut these and glue, centered, to the front flap of the note paper. Line the envelope to match, using random portions of the same paper.

4. ENVELOPES: Cut the envelope linings of the wallpaper to fit inside the front and triangular closing flap (except glued edges). Insert into the envelope, fold the flap down to crease the lining. Glue down the flap area ONLY

* NOTE: If wallpaper samples are used, watch for printing on the reverse side; it will show through the note paper and envelope. Do not use these areas on the note paper. For the envelopes, keep the print off the flap portion. If used inside the envelope, insert a rectangle of white paper between the back of the lining and envelope before gluing the flap in place.
