  • New Contemporary Jazz CD released in 2011 on the TrineArc Music label "For Your Love" featuring saxophonists Rick Britto.

  • CD avant-garde jazz released in 2011 on the TrineArc Music label "Conversations with Erik & I" featuring saxophonists Rick Britto and Erik van Dam.

  • New director of "The Skyliners Big Band" formally directed by my great uncle, Frank "Chico" Monteiro who passed away at 93 years old.

  • Board member of the Cape Verdean Recognition Committee, Inc. a non-profit organization based in New Bedford, MA that sponsors a Scholarship Fund for high school students and does events like the Cape Verdean Independence Parade held anually.

  • Rick Britto is a featured member on the THE JAZZ NETWORK WORLDWIDE!


  • Rick Britto is a featured member on the The Global Jazz Radio & TV Network

  • CD released in 2010 on the new TrineArc Music label! Trine "+1, featuring original Trine members: Rick Britto; saxes, Jim Robitaille; guitar and Chris Poudrier; drums with special guest artist, Chris Lopes on bass.

  • CD released in 2010, "In The Sky" featuring saxophonist, Rick Britto and pianist, Matt Rrichard in their first duo project release  on the TrineArc Music label.

  • Started new recording and publishing company, TrineArc Music.

  • Fall 2009 CD release, "One O'clock Jump Live", featuring Rick on piano.

  • Rick is on a CD release by Andy McWain. The Andy McWain Ensemble: RESEMBLANCE"  released Spring 08. It features eight musicians (including Sofia Koutsovitis, Assif Tsahar, Rick Britto, Chris Poudrier, Jeremy Udden, David Landoni, and Albey Balgochian) in various combinations from solo piano, duos, and trios to sextet.

     

  • Rick is on a CD release called "Politics" by avante garde jazz trio, "Trine" featuring fellow musicians Jim Robitaille on guitar and Chris Poudrier  on drums released in November 2008 on the Fuller Street Music label.

  • Faculty member at Wheaton College teaching Saxophone, Jazz Piano, 
    Jazz Harmony, African American Originals II and  The Wheaton Jazz Band.

  • Faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth teaching 
    Saxophone-Jazz Studies,  UMD Large Jazz Ensemble and 
    The Art & History of Rock & Roll

  • Own and run Saurus Studio a recording/production facility in New Bedford
    (multi-track audio digital hard-disk recording).

  • Producing commercials for radio and television in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
