Unlike most hi-end audio cabling which is mass produced and then sometimes modified, the POIEMA!!! R-v3 cabling is meticulously handcrafted from the ground up starting with RSAD's unique ExLGII™ bare uninsulated silver conductors. These conductors are the foundation for "...silver done right". The cabling is then built one pair at a time using innovative and proprietary materials and processes that cannot be implemented in mass production wire or cable products (regardless of price). It typically takes in excess of seventeen hours to build each and every POIEMA!!! R-v3 interconnect pair. This is a huge contrast to most of the "hyped" expensive alternatives from other well known cable manufacturers.
The goal of the "P"!!! R-v3 was for it to be
efficient in it's transmission with the least amount of cable editorial we know how to design. RSAD believes this is how it should be. The question I always ask myself is, after spending "x" amount of dollars on electronics and loudspeakers whose virtues most closely reflect my listening preferences, why would I use "high performance" cabling that is predominately euphoric (regardless of how pleasing the coloration is) that will editorialize the virtuers for which I bought my other equipment?
The result? Cabling that offers an open window to your electronics' virtues and to the music's emotive communication - right down to the last explosive or subtle bass dynamic, inflection of the vocalists intent, cymbal decay or ambience que. ...Cabling that's more about raising the bar and facilitating the illusion of 'real" instead of a one or two trick pony "hi-fi spectacular" that ultimately becomes boring.
After experiencing the "P"!!! R-v3, we trust you'll agree and appreciate the labor of love put into our cables as evidenced in their aesthetic and more importantly, their state of the art performance.

"P "!!! R-v 3 | Design Features: |
("P"!!! R-v3 Interconnects have at least eight innovative and proprietary development processes that you will not find in any other competing interconnects.)
Ultra high purity and high "Quality" ExLGII™ Silver conductors eliminates forwardness and harshness typical of commonly used lesser silver while maintaining the coveted sonic virtues of silver. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
Proprietary large gauge solid core conductors with redistributed surface area optimized for negligible skin affect, ultra low LCR characteristics with an extremely low, broadband electrical Q. Solid core conductors eliminate noise induced distortions present in other manufacturer's stranded conductor designs.
Special four phase temper process resulting in virtual mono-crystal ExLGII™ conductors. Process includes specially developed & optimized vapor (not L Emersion!) Cryogenics treatment. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
Newly developed "in house" microscopic cleaning and five phase polishing process to the bare conductors leaves a contaminant free, high definition mirror finish on conductors. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
ZERO tension build technique eliminates stressed or fractured grain and crystal structure of conductors. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
CordLESS Cable™ Technology mechanically damps the conductors with a linear broadband damping technique. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
Polar neutralization of build materials eliminates static electrical charges. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
Self-shielding topology combined with judicious and optimal use of Stillpoints ERS treatment to counter EMI / RFI distortions. While commonly used discrete shields dissipate outside interferences to ground, it's a two way street - they also dissipate some of the music signal to ground robbing it of its vitality. Not good!
Our Symmetrical Mono Planar Design facilitates an "optimized simplicity" topology that presents music open, natural and captivating with an organic realism across the audio band. This cabling is uncanny in it's rendering of perspective, definition and clarity. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive
Special "in house" mirror finish applied to our modified Eichmann Silver Bullet Plug® enhances contact and signal transfer. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
Cold Weld connector terminations sealed and stablized with a custom Lead-Free Ag/Cu solder alloy. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)
Proprietary 2 1/2 day condtioning process before shipping substantially reduces end user's system break in time. (RSAD proprietary/exclusive)

Critique And Evaluation Software & Hardware Summary:
System details can be viewed HERE. While product development is critiqued mostly in our music room system, we've had plenty of good opportunity to evaluate our cabling with other gear as it's come through our music room here or in other enthusiast's resident system. Gear used in these systems include Ultra Fi, ModWright Instruments, McCormack, Atma-Sphere, Krell, Cary Audio Labs, Aesthetix, Esoteric, Basis Audio, Dodd Audio, Audiologic, Parasound, VPI, Aragon, Audio Research and others which escape my memory.
Much of the music used to form our impressions was acoustic and covered a wide genre of music from men's or women's A Cappella, Chamber to Orchestra, Jazz, Latin, Folk and Rock. Solo Piano was instructive as well as works or pieces of solo Cello, Upright Bass,Electric Bass (recorded by Dean Peer), Drum Kit, Concert Harp, Saxophone and even a Handbell Ensemble on the Well Tempered label! If you're wondering, yes, we did use some good studio Rock. I particularly like Fagan's and Dream Theater's stuff as good care is given to their productions. I don't do Opera, Rap, Blab, Hip Hop, Tip Top, Tip Toe or Industrial Death Folk.
If you would like, you can request a copy of some of the music we've used when making your purchase and we'll send it along.
Brief On The R-v3 Designation:
The "P"!!! R-v3 designation offers significant and important improvements over the previous "P"!!!. The R-v3 designation introduces an improved surface treatment and finish to the bare conductors and an "in house" tight tolerance build technique where we have completely eliminated any tension and stress applied to the conductors during the entire build process. All other tight tolerance build techniques cause the conductors to be pulled and stretched to some degree. This is not good.
The new surface treatment and finish features a high definition, literal mirror finish that is microscopically contaminant free that can't be approached with mass produced wire. We do this one conductor at a time - the only way. When viewing the conductor finish under 10x magnification, surface imperfections are not visible - the finish is like glass!
These are RSAD exclusives and the benefits of R-v3 designation are not inconsequential.

Hi Robert..... my immediate reaction was "Huh. So THIS is what top-flight cables are supposed to do!" Very impressive cable! I've not found many raves about products to be without a high degree of embellishment, but it is immediately clear to me your product deserves every bit of hype its owners give it. Congratulations! Poeima!! is so good I've stopped auditioning cables. My ultimate goal is now to "cable out" my system with Poeima. Based on the countless auditions I've done over the last few years, it's clear to me that no lower-priced cable is as good a "value" as the Poeima, and no higher-priced cable will sound any better in my system.

Hey Cable Dudes!
I had a complete DH Labs-wired system using their standard interconnect and a dual run of T-14 speaker cable. This hybrid combo (silver coated copper) offers an extremely neutral sound at a very reasonable price, especially if you're buying the wire in bulk and doing your own terminations. Then one-by-one, I began changing my system over to Ridge Street Audio Poiema!!! cables, which use high purity silver and a special "organic" dielectric.
I'm not sure whether it's the composition of the silver, the geometry of the cables, or the materials of the dielectric, but the Poiemas!! are unlike any other silver cables I've ever heard. They're perfectly neutral on top, without the glare and "tizz" usually associated with silver cables; and the bottom-end, well...contrary to popular opinion, the Poiema!!! cables sound as if my speakers (Maggie MG-12s) found an extra half-octave on the low end!!
But the improvements over the DH Labs is more than mere frequency related; the music sounds "faster," with less dielectric smear, and it exhibits a better representation of the acoustic space of the original recordings. Overall, they allow the instruments to sound more REAL, in a visceral way (closer to the way they sound at a live performance). Aside from their cost, which is still a bargain compared to mega-dollar cables like Nordost or Siltech, I have found nothing to fault their sonic performance. Oh, I wish they were half the price, but then again, I wish gasoline were still $1.25 a gallon too!
Even at $500 a meter the Poiema!!! I/Cs are true giant killers. Yes, I've compared the Poiema!!! I/Cs to the Nordost Vahallas and found them equal or superior in every way; and at a fraction of the Vahallas $3,000+ cost. And that's a bargain in my book.
There are a lot of excellent moderately priced cables available today, more so than ever before, but if you've already done the equipment upgrades and all the latest tweaks, and you still want to squeeze the last bit of performance out of your equipment, that's when it's time to consider upgrading to Ridge Street Audio cables.
I highly recommend them without reservation.

Hello Robert. It's been more than a month since I've changed to the Poiema!!! I/C and Poiema!!! SC. They are now fully settled in. The nasties in the highs (too much air, harshness, etc.) that I reported at the 100 hour mark with the I/C went away at 150 hours. What's left is a natural, balanced, easy flow of music. Everything is there but nothing stands out or is emphasized, unless intended. Prior to the cable change I came very close to changing speakers (and CDP), as I was never happy with my setup. It was involving for the first few minutes of listening but after that the effects of artificiality kicks in, and I start to feel irritated rather than relaxed. Sometimes weeks will pass without me listening at all. This was a big frustration as all my gear purchases were done with utmost care and only after extensive research and store auditions. Individually the components were supposed to be outstanding. As a system they just would not 'click'. It is difficult to imagine that IC and speaker cables could make a fundamental and comprehensive difference in a system. Together your Poiema IC and SC achieved this. The level of improvement they gave was something I have not experienced before with component changes. By eliminating the sonic influence (or perhaps distortion) of cables in my system (formerly AP Oval9 and Zu Varial), for the first time in years I am enjoying what my gears have to offer. The modest Dyn 1.3SE is finally singing. Regards, Noel Pastor

Robert,
Just a note to let you know something which may be of interest to you. I recently had my McCormack DNA-225 upgraded and, at about the same time, I bought used a Bent NOH passive preamp. The guy who originally had the Bent had it made by John Chapman with captive XLR output cables (hard-wired) using Harmonic Technology ProSilway II’s. I used this combination and was very pleased, indeed, with the performance. Ultimately, though, I wanted to use the Ridge Street Poiema! IC’s that I had and I wanted an expanded choice of input and output connections, along with eliminating the hard-wired HT cables. Sent the NOH off to John Chapman at Bent and received it back recently. Installed the RSA cables in place of the HT’s. While I was impressed with the McCormack upgrades before and its synergy with the Bent, the improvement using your cables was dramatic. Again, I was shocked by how much more the music seemed live and textured, with pinpoint imaging – much like the sensation when I first used the MSE’s some time ago. I had the HT cables re-terminated and I slipped then in for another comparison, just to confirm that my audio memory wasn’t playing tricks on me. It “weren’t”, these cables are great. Thanks.

Hi Robert. Don't need no stinkin' 30 days. Listened for about 5 hours last night but it only took a couple of minutes to decide that your Poiema! IC's are a winner. They're unbelievable! Biggest difference was the attack of the notes. With horns, my lips started to move as if I were playing along. I could feel the buzz of the mouthpiece on brass and the sound of the bow on strings was incredible. Black level increased as did soundstage width. Imaging was more defined, yet the sounds blended to perfection. Awesome dynamics, clarity, bass slam and crisp clean highs. Equal to a major component upgrade! You saved me a bunch of coin as I am no longer looking for a new amp. Easily bested my cardas golden cross which cost twice as much. Put the money in the bank Robert. I love you man (in a non threatening, platonic way of course)! Keith Oyama

Dear Robert, I am very angry with you! Where do you get off making these extraordinary ICs and having me totally “lust” for more? I bought 1 of your Poiema!!! RCA, 1 Poiema! XLR and 1 SM RCA, recently on Audiogon and have been just overwhelmed with the beauty of their sound. I listen to mainly classical music and feel that your ICs (especially the Poiemas) were made to capture the 1001-colors of an orchestra. Even in smaller-ensemble repertoire, the sound has a clarity (without harshness) that is trully magical. Since others have already expressed themselves about your products more eloquently than I could, I’ll spare you further froth. However, I am in the process of selling my, previously unbeatable, Pure Note Epsilon V4s due to your wizardry...shame on you! Irritated in Maryland, but now a very, very satisfied Ridge Street fan is, Santiago Rodriguez
I've just gone through an upgrade burst and one of the biggies was cables. I ran Acoustic Zen for a few years. Before that it was Analysis Plus, Synergistic Research, Transparent, some I can't remember - right back to good old Monster Cable. This time round I hooked into a few new names like Luminous Audio, Bogdan and Pure Note. I tried them all and liked them lots. I was particularly taken by the latest Pure Notes, which revealed a clarity and timbral accuracy that was breathtaking. Then I saw Ridge Street cables being compared favourably to Pure Note. So I contacted Robert. Now Robert is an interesting chap. I didn't know what to make of him at first. One of the things he wanted to know was whether I wanted a male connector at one end of the balanced cable and a female connector at the other. I thought to myself that if he didn't know what connector went where then things didn't look too promising. But when I queried him about whether he had made a balanced cable before he thought it was a huge joke. Then he made the mistake of mentioning the Poiema cables. I swooped on it immediately - when were they coming, could I upgrade, how much would the upgrade cost? I think to shut me up (and especially because Robert doesn't know how to write a short email) he said he would make me a set of Poiema by hand. Well they finally arrived. And I have to say they were (and still are) revelatory. I sent Robert a gushy email and told him that he should have called them 'The Masterpiece', which he also thought was funny because he said that is what 'poiema' means. Anyway these little babies have hummed and sung and roared and soared their little heads off to the point where I no longer think of them as interconnects and speaker cables but as conduits of the inner reservoirs of the musical experience. They are that good. Whenever I think I may have found a weak point it always turns out to be something else. Every newly introduced improvement is laid bare and the Poiema's just carry on singing. The Poeima's ain't no limiting factor. How much better are they than the Midnights? I have no idea. I have never heard the Midnights. All I can say is that the Poiema's are way out in front of everything else I have tried - and that includes some serious contenders. One other thing - try his speaker cable lifters. They are seriously better than the jobbies that run low to the floor. Associated gear:
