Adoptive Families Today is a support group located in Illinois for prospective adoptive parents, adoptive parents, adoption professionals and all those interested in adoption. Vision Statement: Adoptive Families Today will continue to grow as a leader in adoption education and support. We will be a catalyst for building awareness of adoption issues and changing attitudes. We will be a resource provider of adoption information.

CHEER - Children of Eastern European Regions

Children of Eastern European Regions, or CHEER, is a not-for-profit, volunteer group composed of families and individuals with adopted children or working on adopting from Eastern European countries. CHEER represents a unique opportunity to meet other families and individuals, for your children to meet other children born in Eastern Europe, and to build life long relationships! Objectives: (1) Provide a support network for those wanting to adopt and for those who have built a family through adoption (2) Provide information to and educate all members of the adoption process (3) Provide social opportunities for members' children to meet one another and understand what adoption means as a family building option (4) Educate and increase acceptance of adoption to the general public and (5) Provide the children and their families knowledge about the language, customs and culture of the areas from which the children have come.

FCC - Families with Children from China

FCC is a nondenominational organization of families who have adopted children from China. The purpose of FCC is provide a network of support for families who've adopted in China and to provide information to prospective parents. The purpose of this site is to consolidate the information that has been put together by the families of FCC, in order to make it easier for future parents to consider adopting from China. We also try to provide pointers to other adoption and China related resources available on the Web.

KAAN is the Korean American Adoptee Adoptive Family Network. Adoptees, Adoptive Parents and Korean Americans are involved in this organization, making it a most inclusive organization. KAAN is a network which links individuals and organizations across the United States and Canada. KAAN’s Mission is to network groups and individuals related to Korean adoptions. The network facilitates dialogue, promotes resource sharing, and disseminates information. KAAN works closely with its members, the Korean American community, and the Korean government to promote awareness of Korean adoption issues and develop programs that will benefit both the adoption and Korean communities.
