Boston Community Change

The swipe of the program's free community card at a participating merchant directs cash rewards to the you, the consumer as well as a nonprofit or school of the your choice. Boston Community Change is a project of Boston Main Streets and Interra OS.

Keeping our park safe is everyone's job. If you see something, report it! From a maintenance issue, vandalism, or dangerous activity... We work closely with Ringer Playground Crime Watch.

Master Plan
FORP worked hard on assembling community input with forums and meetings, facilitating the master planning process for Ringer Park with Boston Parks & Recreation. Going forward, we will be helping to implement pieces of this plan.

Open Space Advocacy
FORP realizes Ringer Park is just one piece of Boston's parkland network. By lending our support to city- and statewide efforts on behalf of our parks, we can help ensure adequate government funding to preserve our urban wilds and outdoor recreation resources now and in the future.

ParkARTS Artist in Residence Craft Workshops
Thursdays, July 10 — August 14

In participation with Boston Parks and Recreation
• Ringer Park
In the 11th year of bringing a wide range of cultural offerings to city greenspaces, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department's ParkARTS program comes to Allston with host Friends of Ringer Park. Join neighborhood artist Erika Shorey for a series of craft workshops geared for children ages 3–10. Materials provided. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of six or more must make prior arrangements with the artist.

5th Annual Spring Cleanup

In partnership with Clark University Alumni Association.

Come out and give your neighborhood park some TLC. We'll be working on some spring stewardship projects as part of Boston's citywide cleanup effort, Boston Shines. Meet at the Gordon Street entrance.

"Summer Slam"

Join the Allston Brighton Green Space Advocates, Charles River Watershed Association, friends, and neighbors for the annual Summer Slam picnic. Please bring a potluck food item. After eating, we will take a guided walking tour to St. Anthony's Church at 43 Holton Street to envision designs for a demonstration greening project on this site. We are happy to collaborate with St. Anthony's Parish and the German International Day School on this exciting opportunity to green Everett Street! All are welcome!
