Discussion of Citizen Involvement
A discussion regarding citizen involvement, will take place at both the Planning Commission meeting on Monday, April 6 and the City Council meeting on Monday, April 13.
Discussion and Development of Plans to Amend the Rivergrove Comprehensive Plan
A discussion regarding the development of plans to amend the City’s comprehensive plan will take place at the Planning Commission meeting on Monday, April 6 at 7:00.
Mayoral Appointments
The mayor will make appointments to the City Council and Planning Commission at the City Council meeting on Monday, April 13 at 7:00.
Discussion of Park and Boat Ramp Plan and Budget
The City Council will discuss options for the park and boat ramp at the City Council meeting on Monday, April 13 at 7:00. Public input is welcome and encouraged. Please come and help us determine how to make our public spaces sustainable and functional yet respectful of the neighboring families. If you are not able to attend the meeting but would like to have input on the design, please send your written comments to cityofrivergrove@yahoo.com.
“If I Were Mayor….” Competition for Students to Win a FREE Laptop Sponsored by Oregon Mayors Association
ATTENTION Students in 4th through 6th Grade, Junior High, High School & College!!
One winner will be selected in each of the three (3) categories: Elementary School—Poster, Jr. High School--Essay, and High School and College--Video/PowerPoint. Winners of the City of Rivergrove competition will be highlighted in the city newsletter and will be entered into a statewide contest to be judged by a panel of mayors from around the state to win a laptop computer. Statewide winners will be notified along with their mayor in mid-July. The winners and their parents will be invited to the Oregon Mayors Association Annual Conference banquet in Forest Grove, Saturday, August 1, 2009, to be recognized and receive their prizes.
