My friends and I like to play around with topics that inspire so that we don't get bogged down in yesteryear and day-to-day stuff.  It is fun to just talk about and think about the fun what-ifs, for a change.  How about you?  If you could do five things, what would they be?

Jennifer would:

  1. I would have hundreds of kids!!
  2. I would climb the cliffs of Rio.
  3. I would learn Spanish.
  4. I would get a tummy tuck.
  5. I would fly out and see each and every one of you, or better yet fly us all somewhere together like a lil island somewhere remote and sunny.

I would: ( Emily)

  1. Take voice lessons and join a choir.  I love to sing and think I could if I learned how.
  2. Play the piano as I feel and hear it in my mind--full of emotion.
  3. Take an entire month off work to travel around the country in our motor home.  Maybe next year when I am graduated and won't be in school any more.
  4. Be a true artist--someone who can paint or create what they see in their minds eye.
  5. Finish every thing I have ever started

Free would:

  1. Rent an RV and travel across the country and back, visiting each of you (a big get together with all of us together at once somewhere along the route would be neat).
  2. Write a really outstanding book that would help lots and lots of people.
  3. Go to work, doing something meaningful.  And get paid a good wage for it.
  4. Lose 100 lbs.  I have not been thin since I was seven years old.  I can't even imagine how wonderful it must feel not to be lugging around all this extra weight.
  5. Sing really, really well.  I can only sing two or three notes and all of them are off.  Still, I hum and sing around the house and in the car because I love the comforting vibration in my throat and chest.  It must feel wonderful to sing loud and strong and have it sound good!

(I'm going to keep going)

  1. Buy a neat old house that's all raggedy and fix it up really neat.  Plant a beautiful garden outside.
  2. Spend a year in a beach house somewhere with my dogs and friends dropping by...a year of gently healing (enough of the hard kind of  healing, already!)
  3. Be an artist who touches people's hearts and souls.
  4. Relieve the pain of the people I know (and those I don't know).
  5. 1 Fly...to not be afraid of flying and to travel all over to see people and places.

Nancy would:

  1. Relieve ALL the physical and emotional pain in the world that lasts longer than a week (gotta have some in order to know if something is wrong!)
  2. Buy a beach house and live there, teaching college within 5 miles of my house
  3. NEVER teach summer school
  4. Own my own jet w/ pilot so I could go anywhere I wanted to.
  5. NEVER have to worry about medical insurance again.!
  6. Have a limo w/ a driver so I never have to drive.
  7. Write a book.
  8. See normally again
  9. Make my mother healthy again and redo her whole life's health
  10. Make my dad healthy again and redo his relationship life
  11. Give my daughter a childhood that didn't include a sick mother.
