Follow me as I discover the safe places and the things that kept the members grounded.

I see a very colorful quilt that Amanda cuddles in.  She thinks of the three bears, the not too hot, not too cold, no it is just right.  I also imagine being able to create a quilt that is this colorful and is this comforting.  Amanda also loves the solitude of the garden. From spring through fall she pulls weed and plants flowers.  She considers the garden a place of therapy because she listens to the others and tries to understand.

Kathrine was never a little girl.  Somewhere a long the way she created within the landscape of the mind a retreat on a lake where the three rivers merge.  When she began to talk to us, this place was recognized as some where that she went fishing for what it was she needed to get out into the open.  Later, it was a place just to reflect.

Music is of the soul and many of the members have their favorites because of who they are.  One could only imagine the variety of music in our collection.  But for Emily it can be any thing since it flows through her into any member that needs soothing or to gain focus. We took piano lessons as a 7 year-old, and again about six years ago.  We had to stop taking lessons because "Emily" couldn't get there and "Mar" never practiced.  It doesn't stop the image of being able to play like a pro.
