Well, here is my first effort at stitching Paula Vaughan's Sisters Three.
I am the oldest of three sisters and I plan on stitching this for each of us.
The dresses represent the colors of each of our bedrooms growing up.
(Okay, I took some artistic license – my bedroom wasn't pink, it was orange. What was I thinking?!?)

My intent is to frame them all the same but switch the mats around.
The front mat will match the bedroom of the recipient.
My top mat will be pink, my sister Cindy's mat will be green (the one shown), and my youngest sister Amber's will be blue.

When they are all done, I will have all of them pictured to show the difference the mats make.
