Jim's Blue Oyster Cult Fan Page A Grrrreat Night of ROCK & ROLL!!! January 21, 2006, Leelanau Sands Casino, Peshawbestown, MI

After taking a shuttle bus to the casino from our room at The Lodge, I realized I should have brought my camera just in case they were allowed at the concert.  After taking the shuttle back to the room and retrieving my camera, I walked outside to discover a shuttle bus pulling up.  I asked the driver if he was waiting for someone in particular, and he said he was there to take the band over to the show.   Hmmm, I thought, it might be my lucky night, since I had removed the liner art from the "Extra Terrestrial Live" CD, hoping somehow to get it autographed.  I asked the driver if I could ride along, but he said he usually doesn't allow that.  I asked him to ask the band members if I could ride along too.  Several minutes later, they came out of the lodge, headed for the bus, and said for me to get on!  Cool!!  The CD liner was signed by Eric, Allen, Buck, Richie, and Jules shortly thereafter.  That was the icing on the cake before the show began!

Thanks, guys, from a long-time BOC fan!!!  YOU ROCK!!!

"BOC" symbol at the top of this page was a sticker made by a fan from Wisconsin who sat next to me in the front row.  He said he drove 7 hours to see this show.  Now that's a dedicated fan!  Rock on, dude!
