Hints and Tips:

I didn't do a lot of planning for this trip. I did buy the trail guide I mention below and read through a lot of it. But for this trip I just walked into the backcountry office at the Sugarlands Vistor Center and asked for help. It did help that I had some ideas of what I wanted to do from the book, but I mostly relied on the rangers.
