Hints and Tips (for Hawaii Volcanoes 2002, Na Pali Coast 2002, and Waimea Canyon 2002):

I've pretty much got nothing on this one. I didn't plan the trip that was up to Andrew and Brian. As Brian would say, I was pretty much luggage on this one (in more ways than one).

Things I learned (the short list and in no particular order):

• The terminal at the Honolulu airport for flights to other islands doesn't open until 4:00 AM
• I don't like hiking in 6 inches of mud
• There is snow in Hawaii
• Feral goats are bad for the Hawaiian environment
• Feral chickens are annoying
