A rip-roaring western melodrama comes your way May 16, complete with long-lost daughters, stolen gold mines, kidnapped heroines, and narrow escapes. Deadwood Dick, or The game of Gold, written by Tom Taggart directed by John Watters, features a wide assortment of characters, all of which contribute to an infectiously fun tale.
The story of Deadwood Dick takes place in the late 1800's and is based on a series of dime novels written by little known author, Edward L. Wheeler. Tom Taggart fashioned the play using the most interesting plots, characters, and amusing dialogue from the series.
