Resource repositories store and allow learners to peruse and, sometimes use media developed by others. Public domain resources are sometimes referred to as reusable learning objects. They foster a constructivist approach to education, whereby learners locate and gather information, thus shaping the way they learn interactively. This is also referred to as a student- or learner-centered approach to education. Here are a few examples:
