Kukulcan/Solomani Rim Subsector

This subsector was the site of the "Death of Kukulcan", which touched off the Solomani Civil War. In 1080, in response to the system declaring its independence from the Solomani Confederation, the Solomani Navy imposed a blockade while SolSec introduced a bioagent that targeted Kukulcan's local food crops. By the time the Imperium broke the blockade in early 1081, nearly 30 billion Kukulcani had died as a result of violence, starvation, and disease.

As a result, almost the entire subsector has been under Imperial control for the past 40 years. In 1082, with covert Imperial aid, the people of Laputa overthrew the Children of Light, the oppressive religious autocracy that had held them under their cruel thrall for over 350 years.

Thetis, with its shallow seas dominated by extensive reefs of multicolored coral, is a popular tourist destination.

Kukulcan has a total population of 87.62 billion, and the highest tech level is F at Caprice.
