Embryo-uterine illustration
The Division of Reproductive and Developmental Biology is a collaborative group of investigators whose goal is to understand the basic mechanisms of embryo-uterine interactions during pregnancy. Our research program includes pre-implantation embryo development, the onset of uterine receptivity, regulation of implantation and decidualization, steroid hormone actions, and extends to studies on the causes of term and preterm labor.

Vanderbilt University is committed to principles of equal opportunity and affirmative action.
