I enjoy American Hot Rodding and have a particular interest in engine building.  In 1979 I bought a new Corvette.  This car is a good chassis for testing engine build-ups and modifications.  I kept it  "stock" just until the warranty ran out.  My 7th generation engine currently resides under the hood:  a 400 cubic inch small block Chevrolet capable of delivering 500+ peak horsepower.  I learned a lot from experimenting with, and racing my Corvette at local Michigan drag-strips.  I also became a personal friend of Smokey Yunick - but that's a long story...  Eventually I may create a few web pages about that experience.  Let's just say for now that he showed me that a self-accomplished man need not bow down to anyone.
