.
bullet Campbell Toy Number© - a unique numbering system that uses the makers name (or country of origin) as the prefix, followed by a 3 digit number and in some cases followed by a letter that designates a slight variation of the same toy for color or decoration.

bullet Maker - the known manufacturer or country of origin.

bullet Scarcity Rating - see the explanation of scarcity rating

bullet Dimensions in inches and eighths -    are the dimensions of an imaginary box that the toy would fit into snuggly with the lid closed. It is possible that there will be slight variations due primarily to the height of the spool pin. The first number is the whole inch and the second number is the number of 1/8's.  For example 4.3 is equal to 4 3/8".

bullet Needle - provides the needle used in the toy as shown on the needle substitution chart  An N/A indicates that no information is available. If you have any info to share it will be appreciated.

bullet Toy Constructed Of - lists the primary material used in the toy such as cast iron, stamped steel, aluminum, wood, and plastic. Sometimes more details will be included in the additional info section.

bullet Values G5 to G8 - represents the price range (in U.S. dollars) of this particular toy only for conditions of G5 through G8. (i.e. Fair to Excellent). Toys whose condition is higher or lower are not covered.  Qualifying information for rare toys is presented in the comments section. If there is insufficient information to express a range of values then a single price with a plus sign is shown.

bullet Code - will include A = Actual price averages from online auctions, live auctions, or other actual purchases by collectors, E = Estimated value when compared to comparable toys by the same manufacturer and considering the toys scarcity, etc.- a judgment call by yours truly.

bullet Accessory % - this is the percentage that should be added to the Value Range when the toy has a complete compliment of accessories including box, clamp and instructions.  The is a tough area to come up with prices so a % will be included here only if there is enough data to establish a reasonable number ... over time some patterns will emerge.

bullet Manufacturer Model Name / Number   is either the name given by the manufacturer or the name commonly used by collectors. The comments section will be used when both exist.   Model Number is the number either on the toy or on the toy's box or instruction sheet or catalog references.

bullet Year Made - exact dates of production are generally not known so approximate dates are used based on patent dates, catalogs, instructions sheets, and copyright dates.

bullet Navigation bars - these take you to the Search Page, the Previous Toys by the same manufacturer, the Next Toy by the same manufacturer, the table of contents.

bullet Additional info - used for any related information about the specific toy, it's value, additional photos, and other pertinent data.
