1996 Kawakaki Vulcan 1500 Classic Cruiser

In 1996 I got my first "big bike". Over the years, I loaded it up with extras.  Traded it six years later for the Venture.  Kawasaki still sells the 1500 Classic today, but they never made one that looked this nice.

My first Motorcycle - Kawasaki Vulcan 750

As soon as I passed the MSF Riders Course, and got my "M" license, I "traded up" from the Honda Elite 250 scooter to this bike.  It was great for learning how to handle a bigger bike.

1995 Honda Helix Scooter (250cc)

Similar to the Elite 250 below, but with a longer wheel base, and a more comfortable "feet forward" riding position.  I bought this when I owned the Vulcan 1500, because I missed my first scooter.  It was purchased "used" and it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up.  I still ride it often.  It's great for "around town", or when I don't want to get out the "big bike".

My very first "ride" was a Honda Elite 250 Scooter.  (Mine was red.)  I can remember, as a small child, thinking that one day I'd ride a motor scooter.  But it never happened until I had lived almost half a century.
