Looking for hosts & sponsors for Chess Tournaments and Exhibitions (Schools, Rec. Depts, PTA’s)

Rob Roy is experienced at conducting chess seminars, playing simultaneous exhibitions and directing chess tournaments for elementary schools, high schools and colleges.  I will play a dozen students at the same time and also give a lecture before and afterwards.  I also give seminars on Chess.   I am a US Chess Certified Senior Tournament Director, and have several national championships towards National TD certification.

I edited and published hundreds of Connecticut Chess Magazines and Connecticut Backgammon Magazines. I organized hundreds of tournaments since 1976. I was elected President of the Connecticut State Chess Association more than 10 terms. I wrote the chess column for a major Conn. newspaper every week for 25 years.

I can bring with me 10 complete sets of high quality regulation chess men, chess boards, and tournament chess clocks.  I also have all of the board games listed above, and can conduct seminars in those games as well.  Players too - please contact me.  RobRoy8@comcast.net
