Our eyes met across a crowded market

and instantly I knew;

a feeling came over me, a knowledge, a certainty

that you were meant for me.

I smiled at you and you smiled back

We stopped and chatted awhile

I felt I'd known you all my life

That you were destined to be my wife.

For years I wandered from love to love

Like a ship from storm to storm

but now my search has come to an end

for I've finally come home to find my dearest friend.
