Evangelion correspondence

The television broadcasts were finished two months ago. But "Eva fever" has not yet cooled down. As a matter of course, there was also a big reaction to the interview with Anno Hideaki in the June issue of NT (Newtype). It seems like bunches of letters are delivered to the editorial office daily for Director Anno, which he is reading little by little as his busy schedule permits. However, we announced in last month's issue that the director has said he will not be able to publish a magazine page as he had planned. We must apologize about that to all our readers. Instead of that, he has turned to make a video and movie, and has truly begun to wrestle with it more and more! We just have to wait a bit.

Therefore, here's a proposal from NT! Everyone from here said "Let's stir up Eva!", and so "E Commission" was started (EC for short. Hmm, sounds very clever.) Therefore, we are taking applications for the following things.

(1) In "Eva", what was the most impressive speech? Give reasons.

(2) If you were making a real-life movie of "Eva," who would you want to portray Shinji?

(3) Which of the Angels did you like the most? Give reasons.

From the voting results from (1)-(3) , the "Best 10" will be published, just wait and see! Of course, we will be following the latest information on the EC video, garage kits, and other Eva product information. So, from now on it's up to you to stir up Eva!

This is the idea collecting corner for "E Commission"! Also, we are collecting "The Best 10 Necks"; drawn-up suggestions like "How I would like to see Rei"; and hand-made Eva goods, etc. Anything at all related to Eva! Applicants may send postcards or letters to the person in charge of publishing Newtype "EC"; the postal code is 162-77 Kadokawa Bookstore. Please also let us know what kind of "application accepted" present you would like. Just leave everything to us. (Laugh) We await your mail!
