This trip is a "tune-up" trip to prepare for a trip next year up north. A pup-tent was used which collapsed from new snow.
Bob and Dave used two army blankets formed as a lean-to.
No rope, cord or string was brought along.
Received twenty inches of snow - buried campsite.
Dave got drunk and puked without leaving sleeping bag.
Bob fell into a stream bed and landed on his back. Being stuck like a
turtle, he had to be pulled out.
Walked back to Herb and Betty's for breakfast. Without snowshoes, walking
sucked - BIG TIME!
Now I know this doesn't sound all that exciting, but as time goes on the stories get far more entertaining! |
